About

dear future me or somewhere in between, is a project composed to take the time from this fast-pacing ending year to look back on all the things you have achieved, are grateful about, or have been through, and to simply address that; concurrently, reassessing the coming year with some things you are looking forward to, something you wish will mend, something you want to write to, write for, something you want to change—anything.

Instructions

The letter can be to yourself, to a thing (such bizarre things like rain, writing, music, mug, sunset, etc.), or to a season—anything or anyone you wish to write to.

The main rules, though, are to start with: "dear _____" (whomever/whatever you're penning to) and to end it with: (an ending signature) "___________, _____" and (your made-up-name).

Please send letters to our dm or email when you're done, answering who is submitting and where you are from.

Additional Notes

All accepted entries will be published anonymously.

As of now, we are planning on publishing it within the weeks that readers wait to read our second issue, releasing on Jan. 31, 2023.
